Conservation Volunteers will soon be heading down to Kersal Dale to provide some much needed TLC to the area  following a winter of battering winds and damage caused by heavy rains. They will replace the steps leading from Lower Broughton Road into Kersal Dale and carry out some footpath repairs and remove a damaged fence. If they have time they will also do some litter picking / fly tipping removal, rhododendron clearance and scraping of mud from wider paths.

Anyone is free to join them, they are currently proposing the following dates:
Wed 7th Feb
Thurs 8th
Tues 20th
Wed 21st
Thur 22nd
Tue 27th
Wed 28th
Thur 1st March

If you would like to attend please let the project officer Mark know (details below) so he can bring the appropriate number of tools, etc. They usually start work around 9:30am.
